ipto answers one question: what does this IP address mean? Country, ASN, ISP, and whether it looks like a threat. One request. One JSON response.

We gather data from several key industry providers, updated daily. We process it and cache it close to you globally for low-latency responses.

Network intelligence

Why it exists

Most IP lookup tools bury the data behind dashboards, accounts, and pricing tiers you have to read for ten minutes before you know what you're getting. We thought that was unnecessary. The free tier is 1,000 requests/day with no account to create. The API is a URL—that's all.

What we log

Nothing identifiable. We track aggregate request counts for capacity planning. We do not log IP addresses, store query history, or build profiles. Requests to the API are treated as read-only and transient.
