IP to Company Lookup
Find the organization an IP address is registered to — combines RDAP (WHOIS) registrant data with ASN ownership into a confidence-scored company name, never a guess presented as fact.
Enter an IP address above and press Look up.
Two independent sources can name the organization behind an IP: the RDAP registrant record (who the address block is registered to) and the ASN's own organization name (who operates the network). They usually agree — but not always, since a network can be operated by a subsidiary while the address block itself stays registered to a parent company.
Confidence tiers
- High
- RDAP and ASN organization names match after normalization.
- Medium
- Only one of the two sources returned a name.
- Low
- Both sources responded but disagree — both names are shown rather than picking one arbitrarily.
- None
- Neither source had a name on file.
FAQ
About this tool
The company lookup finds the organization behind an IP address. It combines the registrant details in RDAP (the structured successor to WHOIS) with ASN ownership and presents a confidence-scored answer.
How it works
The confidence score reflects how well the two sources agree, so an address whose registrant and network owner match scores higher than one where they differ. Both sources are shown so you can judge the conclusion yourself.
What to keep in mind
Many addresses belong to ISPs, hosting providers or clouds rather than the company whose users or servers are behind them, in which case the organization returned is the network operator. Treat it as the best available attribution and not a guarantee.
Common uses
It supports B2B analytics that wants to recognize a visiting company, abuse handling that needs the right organization to contact, and due diligence on where a service is hosted.
