IP to Mobile Carrier Lookup
Identify the mobile network operator behind an IP classified as a mobile-carrier network, cross-referenced against an MCC/MNC operator directory — a network-operator lookup, not a live per-subscriber carrier check.
Enter an IP address above and press Look up.
Mobile carrier networks are identified from the IP's ASN classification — org names like "T-Mobile USA, Inc." or "Vodafone Group" self-describe as mobile operators. That network-operator identity is then cross-referenced against a directory of MCC/MNC entries for the same country.
What this can't tell you
There is no live way to identify which carrier a specific device is on right now from an IP alone — SIMs port between carriers, and no static dataset (including this one) can honestly claim otherwise. This tool answers "what network is this IP on," not "whose phone is this."
FAQ
About this tool
The carrier lookup identifies the mobile network operator behind an IP address that is classified as mobile. It maps the network to an operator using the MCC and MNC directory, which assigns every mobile network a country and network code.
How it works
The tool classifies the connection from the owning ASN and then cross-references the operator directory to name the carrier, giving a network-level answer rather than information about any one subscriber.
What to keep in mind
This is a check at the level of the network operator and not a live per-subscriber lookup, so it cannot tell you who owns a phone or which SIM is in use. Addresses that are not mobile have no carrier to report.
Common uses
It is used to understand mobile versus fixed traffic, to tailor experiences for a particular operator, and to enrich fraud analysis where the network type matters.
